Colorado Public Radio is looking for a Features Editor to join our talented team in a growing newsroom. You’ll work with veteran journalists who are eager to get even better. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking leadership team. And you’ll be working in a state where there’s no shortage  of big news stories and big ideas to explore.

The Features Editor is a new position  - we’re growing that much - and will work closely with the News Director, Daily Editor, Digital Editor and our Host/Executive Producer of our daily interview show Colorado Matters to coordinate coverage.

You’ll have the opportunity to edit creative storytelling on beats and general assignment, and to develop deep ongoing coverage as well as weekly news developments.

Colorado is a state that is exploring some big ideas from legalized pot to the role of government in a purple state. It’s also teeming with a diverse arts and culture scene. You’ll be working in a newly expanded newsroom with mountain views, set in an awe-inspiring place to live. The Denver area is full of ways to explore your passions outside of work - skiing, biking, hiking, food, arts, music, theater.
